It’s been a while since me and the spookzterr went on a real date. He’s leaving for Manila tomorrow so we decided to eat out — just the two of us… Yey! :)

He’s been craving for Pendy’s and i haven’t eaten there for a while. What we ordered: Blue Marlin with teriyaki sauce and Beef stew. For dessert, it’s their infamous Half Moon cake.

I love eating at Pendy’s because the place has a private feel and ofcourse the food is to die for. You just have to come back for more. You’ll love their salpicao too and their chocolate cake, brazo de mercedes & piatitos! I love foodtrips with the spookzterrr!

So I got a new watch for today. This is the only steel watch I own. The Spookzterr gave me a Mudd steel watch last March but I lost it when we were in Siquijor Island. To see how it looked like, click here. I got the new one from a friend and a great bargain I may add! I think it was a sign why I lost my other steel watch. I think fate was telling me something. It was telling me its time to forget and let go of some people who no matter what you do has too much negativity in them.  *self-centered*. You may say it has nothing to do with the watch – but it does! For now, that’s just between me and the people who know the whole story. I'm not referring to the Spookzterr though.  It’s much more complicated than you think. After I lost that watch, my mum sent me a whole lotta nice watches and guess what?! when i started letting go, my life turned out to be so much better. I turned out to be happier. Blessings poured and most important of all I knew who my true friends are.

Why I want a steel watch? Steel watches are the most prevalent among all watches. And just because I like it better in steel.

Last Saturday night, the girls and I planned to have dinner at Karla’s house. The Menu: Baby Back-ribs from Rib’s To Go! :) Anne brought her daughter Angelique she’s just the cutest and she loves to EAT! That’s our kinda girl. When we were about to eat i took out my SLR to take pictures and she automatically posed with her dinner! so A-dorable!!!!!

Happy hearts day!

I know I'm 3 days late. I've been so busy after Valentine's day I had to update my other blog for my cupcake business and thank God today I am free. :)

This is the 2nd Valentine's that the Spookzterr and I are away from each other. Last year, he was in Singapore and this year he's in Manila. I'm not really sad about being away from each other actually this Valentine's was a bit special. For the almost-7 years that we're together we really don't celebrate Valentine's day like other couples do (Well, i'd love to be all romantic and cheesy). He thinks that it's over rated and he believes that Valentine's day should be celebrated everyday. He doesn't want to give me flowers because its Valentine's day... He wants to give me flowers because I deserve it but then he feels sorry for all those pretty flowers being picked. haaay nako!

Anyway, he sent me something (sorry, im not allowed to write it here) which i find it very thoughtful and sweet. He also texted me something sweet that melted my heart. It's so not him but I get so kilig I love it. On the same day, he bought a guitar from a friend here in Bacolod (a very veryyy nice & expensive guitar) so for my valentine's present i took pictures of the guitar and sent it to him... hahaha! i know I'm so unfair.

The girls and I had dinner at this new Korean restaurant Hon Gok Won then had drinks at KGB. It's so funny that we all did not have dates...but we've got each other.

All in all... it was a great day. Full of laughter and good friends. No negative vibes, No BS. Yes, I am loved and to me that's the most important thing in this Life.

It's chinese new year and we're all at the street party (we = me and my girls)! After drinking the night away at Pepe's and explored the streets we decided to take a break.

Mandarin orange and Pistachio flavored ice cream from the new cafe in L’fisher. You just have to try it. It’s the only place in Bacolod selling ArceDairy ice cream. Yum!? Brings back childhood memories and its heaven in your mouth. My friend Karla wanted us to try the Dark Chocolate flavor, according to her it’s tastegasmic! “mapapa umph!” haha! unfortunately last night it wasn’t available. booo! But i’ll be coming back for more. :)

Love and Other Drugs

Another movie to look forward to, Love and other drugs. I watched it this morning and it made me laugh and it made me cry too! Buckets and buckets of tears! (well, im such a baby with these tear-jerker movies)... I think Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal look good together. They're both gorgeous! The plot was predictable but somehow made me want more of it. Made me want to love more...Made me appreciate life... Yes, I LOVE THIS MOVIE!

Last Saturday, March 27, 2010 I attended Jordan’s graduation. And look matching colors! :) It was just the two of us during the recognition ceremony. I wished I was with the Spookzterr.. it would have been less boring. hehehe. For the afternoon event which was the graduation rites our grandma came along together with her two maids. We went to our grandma’s house right after and had snacks :) Congratulations Jordan! We are so proud of you.

and oh…i almost forgot. He got 3 awards --- Cooperative, Industrious and Courteous.

Was feeling sad and lonely this afternoon so I decided to walk. I walked and walked and walked until my feet started to hurt.  Till I reached the Carnival. There was a festival. Then I realized, sometimes when you think things are going no where… there’s always something happy and nice at the end of the road. Waiting for you.

I know God has a bigger picture and  greater plans for me.

Mr. Goodbar! I loved this chocolate since i was small. One of my faves actually. Its been a long time since i sinked my teeth into these. I ♥ u Mr. Goodbar. This is just one of the many treats I got from my mum the other day. I also got a Carlos Santana watch, Betsey Johnson watch, Dooney and Bourke bag, Harajuko loves music bag, my very first Coach bag, jag bikini and lots and lots of clothes and dresses. Thanks mum. :) I love them all but not as much as I love you!

Jordan and me in Wonderland

This is such a late update. I wasn’t able to share that a few weekends ago, Me and Jordan went to Ilo-ilo to watch Alice in Wonderland in 3D. Yes, 3D! I just don’t get it though…Why Bacolod does not have 3D. I remembered watching Shark boy and Lava girl in 3D at Rob but that was it no more 3D after that. But moving on it was an awesome trip. We had so much fun. The only bummer about the trip is the boat ride. Not only it was delayed for almost an hour but it was a terrible ride. the waves were just crazy. Anyhoo, it was Jordan’s first 3D experience and I loved how he reacted to it. He was actually catching the butterfly from the screen. I loved the movie even more and appreciated the effects. We felt we were in the movie.

We ate at Kenny Rogers then off to the movie and then shopped for toys. Then back to Bacolod. Home sweet home.

Last night i fell asleep with a book in my hand. I was reading Fourplay by Jane Moore. The book is pretty good actually.  Like a fairy tale for grown ups. Made me wish I lived in London. It is mostly about making the right choices in love and life. Haven’t finished the book yet but I’m almost there. I have all the time in the world to read it. My schedule is composed of taking Jordan to school then back home. Basically, that’s it.  I am so bored and plain broke so I cannot really go out for drinks, meet the girls for coffee or shopping or anything that requires paying. But I dont want to feel bad about it anymore. I'm just thankful for LIFE. and i know there is a bigger picture and bigger plans.

I have one thing to be excited about --- Jordan’s graduation next week! I know he wanted The Spookzterr to be there but I made him understand why his dad won’t be able to go. So they had their grad practice this morning and they’ll be singing and sooo cute. he looks adorable. He’s such a big boy now. If only i could tell him “don’t grow up so fast”.
